Delivery Policy
Our delivery experience is designed to be seamless, professional, and carefully managed from our warehouse to your home.
Deliveries are scheduled Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Requests for delivery outside of standard hours may be accommodated and may incur additional charges.
An adult must be present at the time of delivery to receive and sign for your order.
All items are fully insured from the moment they depart our warehouse until they arrive at your residence.
Upon delivery, we kindly ask that you inspect all items carefully. Any visible damage or concerns must be noted on the delivery receipt or bill of lading at the time of delivery. Delivery insurance applies only to issues documented at that time. Items not noted accordingly cannot be covered, and neither The DFW (Designer Furniture World) nor the carrier can assume responsibility for undocumented concerns.
All deliveries must be accepted and signed for, regardless of damage, defect, missing, or incorrect items, unless otherwise instructed by The DFW (Designer Furniture World). Should an issue arise, we will work with you to resolve it through replacement, repair, or refund, as deemed appropriate.
Photographic documentation of any damage is required to support a claim.
Please ensure that floors, walls, doorways, and surrounding areas are properly protected prior to delivery. The DFW (Designer Furniture World) and its delivery partners are not responsible for damage to personal property.
Missed delivery appointments may result in a delivery attempt fee, estimated at $0.75 per pound.
If you need to reschedule your delivery, please notify us at least two business days in advance to avoid a rescheduling fee.
On the day of delivery, the designated area must be clear and accessible. Our delivery teams are unable to remove or dispose of existing furniture.
Items held in our warehouse for more than 30 days will be subject to a storage fee of $50 per piece, per month. Please note that certain items, including beds and dining tables, may consist of multiple pieces.
Any damages must be reported to our Customer Care team within 24 hours of delivery to ensure prompt assistance.
