DFW (Designer Furniture World) – Cancellation Policy
At DFW (Designer Furniture World), we curate and deliver exceptional furnishings with the utmost attention to detail. We recognize that design decisions evolve, and we have structured our Cancellation Policy to balance your needs with the bespoke nature of our products and services.
1. Cancellation Time frame
Customers may request a cancellation within 24 hours of order placement to receive a full refund of the merchandise value, subject to payment processing adjustments and bank fees. Requests received after this time frame may be subject to applicable fees as outlined below.
2. Made-to-Order & Special Orders
Given the bespoke nature of many of our pieces (custom finishes, special fabrics, vendor-produced items), orders that have entered production, customization, or fulfillment are not eligible for cancellation once processing begins. Any cancellation request for such orders will be reviewed, and, if approved, may incur restocking or vendor-assessed fees.
3. Cancellation Fees & Restocking Adjustments
Cancellations submitted after the initial 24-hour window may incur a restocking fee or charge reflecting the actual costs incurred by us and our vendors, including but not limited to order processing, procurement fees, and logistics. The specific fee will be communicated at the time of cancellation.
4. Shipping & Delivery-Related Cancellations
Once a product has been dispatched, scheduled for delivery, or assigned to our White Glove Logistics team, cancellations may not be permitted or may be subject to additional charges, including carrier costs and return transportation fees.
5. Refund Process
Upon approval of a cancellation, refunds for eligible merchandise will be issued to the original form of payment. Refunds for cancelled orders (excluding eligible restocking or processing fees) will typically be processed within a reasonable period following the cancellation request, subject to applicable financial institution timelines.
6. How to Request a Cancellation
To request a cancellation, please contact our Client Care team via email, phone, or online support. All cancellation requests should include your order number and reason for cancellation. Requests are processed in the order received.
7. Acknowledgment & Acceptance
By placing an order with DFW (Designer Furniture World), customers acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Cancellation Policy.
