What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear, including softening of cushions, fabric wear, or leather patina
- Natural variations in wood grain, color, texture, or finish
- Damage caused by improper care, misuse, accidents, or exposure to extreme humidity, heat, or sunlight
- Commercial, rental, or non-residential use unless otherwise specified
- Fabric, leather, or COM (Customer’s Own Material) beyond manufacturer-provided coverage
Upholstery, Fabric & Leather
Fabrics and leathers are covered according to the specific material manufacturer’s warranty. Variations in color, texture, and natural markings—especially in leather—are considered inherent characteristics and not defects.
Warranty Service Process
Warranty claims must be submitted through the authorized Bernhardt retailer from whom the product was purchased. Proof of purchase is required. If a defect is confirmed, Bernhardt may choose to repair, replace, or provide parts at its discretion.
