Returns & Exchanges

At The DFW (Designer Furniture World), every piece is selected with intention and craftsmanship in mind. Should your purchase not be the perfect fit for your space, we offer a 30-day return window, beginning from the date your order is received.

Returned merchandise must be in original, unused condition, with all packaging and components intact, and must be authorized by The DFW (Designer Furniture World) prior to return.

Eligibility for Return

To ensure the integrity of our collection, all returned items must meet the following criteria:

  • Unused and in new condition
  • Unassembled and unaltered
  • Accompanied by original packaging, accessories, and materials
  • Authorized with a Return Authorization issued by The DFW (Designer Furniture World)

Returns that do not meet these standards may be subject to additional deductions or deemed ineligible.


Fees & Adjustments

All approved returns and exchanges are subject to a 15% restocking fee, along with applicable return shipping charges.

A return transportation fee, estimated at $0.99 per pound, will be deducted from your refund in the following circumstances:

  • The DFW (Designer Furniture World) arranges the return pickup
  • Delivery is refused without prior authorization
  • An entire shipment is rejected due to partial damage
  • An incorrect delivery address was provided
  • The order is canceled outside the allowable cancellation window
  • The item cannot be accommodated within your residence (doorways, staircases, or access limitations)

For bundled or package-priced purchases, returning only a portion of the order will void the original package savings, and the refund will reflect adjusted pricing.

Refunds are processed within 5 business days from the date the return is approved.

Missing components or original packaging materials may result in additional deductions. Remote or limited-access delivery locations may incur supplemental fees.


Non-Returnable Items

  • Items marked "Final Sale" or "Special Order."
  • Items that have been assembled (unless a written exception is provided by The DFW (Designer Furniture World).

How to Start a Return or Exchange

You can initiate a return or exchange online, by phone, by mail, or via live chat.

Tips to Avoid a Return

  • Before placing your order, ensure the item will fit through your door and in the intended space. If it doesn't, the delivery company may have to leave the product outside your door, on a porch, or in a garage.
  • If your item arrives with minor or cosmetic damage from shipping, we can often replace the damaged parts to avoid a return.
